A paintball air cannon, is a large bore device that uses air pressure to make a paintball eject out into the air. Air cannon are useful for propelling large quantities of paintballs to or towards a specific target. Paintball air cannons are made on the same principle as water balloon cannons.
Air cannons will have a higher delivering rate then other paintball cannons and air gun designs paintball guns. With the air cannon a compressed air reservoir and barrel separated by an electric valve. With filling the reservoir with compressed air, trigger the electric valve the paintball air cannon will shoot out paintballs out of the barrel.
Most paintball air cannon are made of PVC pipe with around a 2 inch pipe. This will be big enough diameter of a pipe to fire out more than one paintball at a time. Using an electric sprinkler value for the Paintball air cannon, a player would be able to carry the cannon on the field and use without extra tanks. The electric value runs on batteries, as a player would only need to have extra batteries if needed.
A player could be in a paintball air bunker and set up the paintball air cannon and shoot paintballs to a small or large group of enemies. With one shot a player could get more than one enemy. Depending on the size of the barrel made for the air cannon will determine the amount of paintballs to be loaded.

Making or getting paintball air cannon is inexpensive and would be a great collection for a player's gear. With the cannon, cheap paintball gun barrels paintball guns, paintball clothing, goggles and mask, the cannon would be an ideal addition.
Before making or purchasing a paintball air cannon check out the fields requirements to see if they allow paintball air cannons and if so what type are able to be brought on the field.
Take precautions when working with the paintball air cannon make sure when firing the cannon that it is for a long distant. The shorter the distant the cannon fires could cause injury. When reloading the cannon make sure goggles are being worn to keep from injuries.
